It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas

Hey, Beacon fans! It's been a while since my last post, and for that I apologise. In my own defenese, I was rather distracted by a certain Call of Duty 3, and more recently, The Saint by Ted Dekker - AWESOME. But, anyways, I thought I would share with you how our little world of Pittsburg is looking.

This is a look at what things were like last night.

This is how it looked this morning.

I didn't think we would actually get hit as hard as we did - you know me, I always doubt the weatheric... I mean weatherman. But we got a LOT of snow and sleet. This drift is about a foot to a foot and a half deep, and that was on the south side of the car. In spite of this, I let EB go to work this morning, albeit a bit grudgingly (I like having her around). Apparently it took her almost 30 minutes to make what is normally a 3 minute journey. Getting stuck, no plowed parking spaces, and when she got there, no coworkers either! Humph - told you not to go, sweetie! At any rate, I was given specific instructions from the wife NOT to walk in the yard. Preserving nature's beauty, or wanting to ruin it herself with her own snow angels? Only time will tell.
